* 1 pound Turkey smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
* 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
* 1 can (15-1/2 ounces) butter beans, rinsed and drained
* 1 cup instant brown rice
* 1 cup vegetable broth
* 1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 3 tablespoons corn syrup
* 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

In a large skillet, saute the onion, green pepper and garlic in water until onion is crisp-tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Yield: 8 servings.
