Prepare rice as directed on box (do not add butter or oil). While simmering, brown pork sausage with frozen vegetables (or use 1 c. each fresh chopped onion and green pepper & 1/4 c. celery). Drain when sausage is no longer pink and veggies are softened. Combine sausage mixture with soup, 3/4 c. shredded cheese and rice.
