SUPER FAST EASY WAY: use a rice cooker. Put in all ingredients except bacon and parmesan. Allow cooker to do it's thing. When finished, stir in bacon and parmesan and allow to sit a few minutes. Stir again and enjoy!SLIGHTLY LONGER BUT STILL WORTH THE WAIT WAY: Cook the rice and broccoli together with the cup and a half of water and boullion till rice is tender in medium saucepan on med. heat. (read rice package for more detailed instructions...just follow them as though you were cooking only rice)Take pan off heat. Add all other ingredients and stir well. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes for cheese to melt. Stir one more time and serve. Makes 4 approx. half cup servings.LOWER SODIUM:Omit water and boullion.
