2 TBSP Italian seasoning blend (marjoram, basil, thyme, oregano, etc)

Here is how you make Easy cheesy lentils and rice:

Cook rice in a rice cooker (1 cup rice, 2 cups water)While rice is cooking, put lentils into a saucepan and add the 2 cups broth. Bring to a boil and then add the broccoli, carrots and italian seasoning. Bring down to a simmer and cover. Cook till lentils are soft and veggies are tender (about 15 min.).While lentils/veggies are cooking, put the butter into a skillet over med/high heat. When butter is melted, add the chopped onion and sliced celery. Stir and cook until onions are golden and celery is tender.Preheat oven to 375Mix all ingredients except for the cheese in a large casserole dish or baking pan. The lentils and veggies should have some liquid--add that, too. Mix thoroughly and put foil over the top. Bake for 30 minutes, then take out of the oven, take off the foil and spread the cheese over the top. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
