How Do I Make Polynesian Meatballs (no rice)?

Here is how you make Polynesian Meatballs (no rice):

Preheat oven to 350.Drain 1/2 cup pineapple for meatballs and reserve remainder for sauce.Combine the ground turkey, the 1/2 cup drained pineapple, 1/2 cup scallions, 1/4 cup teriyaki, egg, ginger, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Mix well. Scoop mixture and roll into meatball size (I use a cookie scoop for this). Place on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake until done; about 15-20 minutes for my 1" meatballs... it takes less time because the rice is not included in the meatballs. To make sauce, combine the remaining pineapple and juice, 1/4 cup teriyaki, and the peach simply fruit. Heat to boiling, reduce to a simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir in remaining scallions and pour over cooked meatballs.Serving Size: 6 servingsNumber of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user KATED75.
