Really fast, easy and yummie- and the best part is: its low fat. You can add vegetables as much as you want to, this is just the basics and a "i-don't-have-anything-in-my-fridge" recepy ;) invented by me when i was too lazy to go grocery shopping. If you want to cook for more persons, just double or triple the ingredients. But actually when i am cooking, there's always some rice left over, so calculate beforehand how much rice you normally eat or take into account that you might have some left and plan it into you next days meals ;)

2 Turkey Hot Dog Sausages (Salchichas de Pavo)
1 cup of White Rice
half a cube of Caldo de Pollo
Fresh Spinach (or frozen, whatever you have)
(plus all the vegetables you like)
4 tsp Salsa Valentina
2 tbsp Mayonaise con Chile Chipotle
0.25 tsp Tajin
(optional: decorational leaves of fresh Coriander)


How Do I Make Rice and Sausage?

Here is how you make Rice and Sausage:

Wash and cook the white rice (normally its 1 cup rice and 2 1/2 cups of water, but differs depending on the rice) and add half the cube of Caldo de Pollo to the water. While stirring the rice from time to time, cut the sausages in thin slices. Wash the Spinach and cut it. When the rice is almost ready, heat a pan and fry the sausages. Arrange the fried slices on a plate. Wipe out the pan with a paper towel (or use another one) and heat it again. Add the spinach, let it fry (low heat) until its shriveled. Arrange the rice on the plate next to the sausage slices, powder it with Tajin and put the spinach on top. (Decorate with the washed coriander leafs.) Sprinkle the sausages with Salsa Valentina.
