Tony Chacheros (or Zataran's) creole seasoning, this can be adjusted to your taste. 3 1/4 cups hot water Put chicken broth into two cup measure and add water to equal 2 cups. Pour into rice cooker. Add three more cups of hot water. Add rice to cooker. Slice sausage into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and add to cooker. Add creole seasoning. Stir. Put lid on cooker and turn on heat. Cooker will shut off when finished. You can do this in a pot too but will need to reduce the water by 1/4 to 1/2 cup. This is also great with diced up peppers or other veggies in it. Brown and wild rice will be a little chewy but are very good for you.
