1 can peas, drained
1/2 cup strips of green peppers
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
Pam cooking spray
1 large egg
16 medium raw shrimp
1 tsp or 1/3 tbsp honey
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 c chopped scallions
1/4 cup water


How Do I Make Shrimp, Veggies and Rice?

Here is how you make Shrimp, Veggies and Rice:

Cook rice according to package directions. Prepare and saute garlic, onions and peppers in large frying pan or wok coated witih cooking spray for approximately 5 minutes and then pour in peas and push to side of pan. Spray cleared space with Pam and add beaten egg, scramble. Spoon on top of sauteed vegetable mixture at the side of pan.Mix water, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and pour onto clear side of pan. Add shrimp, stir, cover and cook another 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Put cooked rice in large bowl, blend in cooked shrimp and vegetables and serve 1/2 cup of mixture with two shrimp per serving.Serve with garden salad appetizer and fruit cup for dessert if you wish .Serving Size: Makes 8 1/2 cup serviingsNumber of Servings: 8Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SUEWORTHY.
