Here is how you make Vegetarian Moroccan Chickpeas and Rice:

Put 2 cups water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil (salt water to taste). Add basmati rice, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.While the rice is cooking, heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat. While the oil is heating, chop onion and carrot and mince garlic.
