Here is how you make Jan's Roasted Cabbage Steaks:

-Preheat Oven to 400 degrees-Line Baking Sheet with Olive oil covered Parchment paper-Cut Cabbage into 4-1.5 inch slices- Cut off bottom core and then hold cabbage with bottom side down. Then trim 2 sides to square. Then slice cabbage steaks about 11.5 inches wide, giving you qty 4.-Cover Cabbage steals with 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil--Combine sage ,garlic powder,sage,parsley,turmeric,thyme,rosemary and salt(optional) in a small bowl.-Sprinkle Cabbage slices with seasoning blend.-Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. -Cook Cabbage slices lightly for about 4 minutes, turning slices halfway until slices are golden brown.-Place Cabbage slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.Cover with second layer of parchment paper and then a layer of foil paper.-Roast in oven for 35 minutes covered until cabbage steaks are tender when you insert a fork. You can uncover and roast for an additional 5 minutes.
