Here is how you make Mild Yellow Curry Sauce:

Melt butter over low heat in a heavy saucepan. Saute onion and curry in melted margarine. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook over low heat until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in broth and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Take off heat and put into a serving tourine.Pour sauce over rice, vegetables, meat, fruit, etc for a rice based curry meal.This recipe is based off one of my mother's Betty Crocker books from the 1960s.
