Here is how you make Rustic Vegetarian Pasta Sauce and Fettucine:

Sautee garlic in olive oil; add onions. Cook until soft. Add vegetables. Cook until tender but still a bit crunchy, stirring during the cooking process to be sure everything is cooking evenly. Add pasta sauce and spices. Stir. Simmer sauce for 45 minutes (cover for the first 20 minutes).Towards the end of the sauce cooking time, fill another pot with water. Bring to a boil. Add pasta.
