Here is how you make Veggie tomato sauce pita filler:

Chop up your squash, all your peppers, and your portabella mushroom top into fairly small pieces. Put aside the mushroom top for now. Place your squash and peppers in a skillet and add a very small amount of olive oil and a little bit of water so the veggies don't stick as they are being sautéed. When your squash starts to get soft, add your kidney beans. Continue cooking on a slightly lower setting. Using another pan, take your chopped up mushroom top and cook until it's nice and brown. Drain any excess mushroom goop and add to your squash mixture. Keeping your veggies moving on a medium heat, add in your tomato sauce. Move your veggies around and add your spices until a nice taste is achieved (which varies person to person). When your squash is slightly brown, turn off heat and it's done! Take one large pita (roughly 6in) and add 3/4 cup mixture on top. For best results, heat up the pita for about 30seconds so it doesn't fall apart as easily.
