2 Tablespoons Butter
1 large Onions, chopped
1-2 lbs Ham chopped
1 clove Garlic
3 cups Water
4 cubes of Beef bouillon
2 cans Tomatoes
1 Tablespoon Parsley
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon black Pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Chili powder
1 Bay Leaf

Additional:
1 cup long grain rice
2 cans (6-8 oz) Shrimp


How Do I Make Shrimp and Ham Jumbalya?

Here is how you make Shrimp and Ham Jumbalya:

Heat the butter, onion, ham and garlic until the onion is soft. Add water, beef cubes, tomatoes, parsley, salt, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chili powder and bay leaf. Bring to a boil. Take off heat and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight (overnight is best).Bring back to a boil and add long grain rice. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is done. Add shrimp.
