4 ounces of Ultra Pasteurized Heavy Cream

How Do I Make Saffron Shrimp?

Here is how you make Saffron Shrimp:

Remove the shell and de-vein the shrimp. We usually buy the shrimp where this is already done.In a wok or saute pan melt the butter and olive oil.Once the butter is melted add the onions and garlic and let cook on medium heat for about 2 - 3 minutes until soft. Add the shrimp and let it cook until they are pink (about 3 - 5 minutes). To create the sauce add the white wine, salt, pepper, saffron, cream and parsley. Let it cook about 5 minutes. Before you serve add the tomato sauce to the dish. This will give it a little bit of a tomato taste and a little bit of color.Serve over whole wheat pasta or brown rice.
