Spinach, fresh, 1 cup
Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
Ground beef, extra lean, 24 oz
Stewed Tomatoes no salt added 3.5 svgs can, 1 serving
Tomato Sauce 8oz can, 2 serving
Prego Spaghetti Sauce, 2 tbsp
Cheddar or Colby Cheese, Low Fat, .5 cup, diced
Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1 tbsp
Chicken Breast, no skin, 8 ounces
Chop onion, put 1/2 into skillet (Med Heat) w/ 2 TBSP of WATER, add one cup of fresh spinach. With wooden spoon or spatchula, stir until spinach is slightly soft, onion turn clear. Remove from pan onto a small plate. Roll Hamburger into ball using a little bit of the uncooked onion, cooked spinach. I season the hamburger first with just pepper. Cook in skillet until done, add all other ingredients, including any left over spinach onion mixture. Slow cook/simmer on low until Mushrooms are done. Boil Noodles in water (do not add salt to water). Strain and serve....Yum. Chicken is optional...but I had it in.
