What Are The Ingredients For Grandma's Potato Soup Recipe?The ingredients for Grandma's Potato Soup are: 2 lbs Potatoes (I use red since that was what my grandma used when cooking from the garden)2 large stalks of celery (you may use an entire head if you like) 1/2 lb. onion (I prefer sweet, but yellow work fine) 1/4 cup margarine 1/4 cup flour 2 Cans or approximately 3.5 cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth 2 Cups NonFat Milk Salt and Pepper to Taste **Could add carrots as well. How Do I Make Grandma's Potato Soup?Here is how you make Grandma's Potato Soup: Dice potatoes and thinly slice celery and onions.Melt margarine in pan.Saute onions and celery slowly.Add 1/4 of the potatoes. Cover and cook on low for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.Stir flour into vegetables.Put milk and broth in large pot. Add vegetables and remaining potatoes. Add about 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.
