1 16 oz can of Fat Free Evaporated Milk
4 tsp Sugar
1 cup onion, diced finely
1/2 stick butter
4 cups water
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 tsp pepper (or to taste)


How Do I Make Tomato Soup?

Here is how you make Tomato Soup:

Take tomatoes, water, sugar and diced onion and combine in large pot. Bring to a boil. Cook for 40 minutes on a low simmer. As the 40 minute mark approaches, in a small sauce pan, melt butter and create roux with the flour, cook and stir for 3-5 minutes. Add can of milk to soup. Slowly add roux to soup. Stir well. Continue to cook for 20 minutes, stirring often. If you would like this soup to be smoother, you can use blender. If not, the soup is delicious as is.
