What Are The Ingredients For Polenta w/ Spinach and Parmesan Recipe?The ingredients for Polenta w/ Spinach and Parmesan are: Cooking Spray2 cloves of garlic - minced 3 cups chopped spinach 2 cups water 2 cups chicken broth (low sodium) 1 cup polenta 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese How Do I Make Polenta w/ Spinach and Parmesan?Here is how you make Polenta w/ Spinach and Parmesan: Sautee garlic in a non stick skillet for one minute, add spinach and cook for an additional minute till the spinach wilts. Remove from heat. In a large saucepan combine water & broth, bringing it to a boil. Slowly stir in polenta with a wisk. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 20 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat & stir in spinach mixture along with the salt & pepper. Pour polenta into a 9 inch springform pan coated with cooking spray. Press plastic wrap onto the surface of the polenta & refridgerate for at least 2 hours. (You may want to let the mixture cool a few minutes before putting the plastic wrap on the top, but don't wait to pour it in the pan!)Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove polenta from springform pan and place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Sprinke the cheese on the polenta & bake for 15 minutes (or until cheese begins to brown). Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes. Cut into wedges.
