After a a couple minutes put it more butter and put in the balsamic vinegar. Add drained diced tomatoes or you can do these separately.I did the onions separately with more butter and garlic in the same skillet. Let the onions cook in butter and salt.Then the tomatoes can go alone at the end with some more butter and balsamic if you want.
