9 Lasagna Noodles, cooked
4 c part skim Mozzerella cheese, shredded and divided
1- (16 oz) container fat free ricotta cheese
1 jar prego italian sausage and garlic pasta sauce
2 eggs
1 (10 oz) pakage frozen chopped spinach
2 Tbl Garlic powder
1 Tbl Onion powder
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp ground red pepper (optional)
1 lb ground turkey, browned and drained


How Do I Make Italian Sausage and Spinach Lasagna?

Here is how you make Italian Sausage and Spinach Lasagna:

Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish (I use pyrex) with cooking spray. Layer 3 noodles on the bottom. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 3 cups of mozzerella cheese, all the seasonings and the eggs and mix well. Layer half the cheese mixture over the noodles. Then layer as much spinach (still frozen) as desired over the cheese layer. I use about a cup. Add a layer of half the ground turkey. Add a layer of 1/3 of the pasta sauce and top with 3 more noodles. Repeat with the cheese mixture, then the spinach, meat and sauce and top with 3 more noodles. Top with remaining sauce, cover with foil and bake at 400 F for 1 hour. Remove from oven and uncover and top with remaining 1 cup of mozzerella cheese. Recover and let sit for 1 hour.
