Heat oil in a non-teflon dutch oven or deep frying pan on a med-high heat.2. Place steak in pan and season top side only.3. Brown both sides of steak and remove from pan to a plate.4. Add chopped onions to the pan and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 3-5 minutes and scrapes up the brown bits from the bottom of the pan.5. When the onions become soft and start to carmeize, add the white wine.6. Simmer cuncovered for 5-7 minutes until the livquid has reduced by about 50-75%.7.
