2/3 C Finely Chopped Onion
1/3 C Instant Brown Rice
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp salt
1 Lg Egg White
Cooking Spray
1 1/4 C sliced Fresh Mushrooms
1 1/2 c homemade beef stock, can use 2 -10 oz cans
1 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp water
1 1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch


How Do I Make Salisbury Steak?

Here is how you make Salisbury Steak:

Combine forst 6 ingredients, Divide and form into patties 6 equal portions.Coat lg skillet w cooking spray, over medium high heat. Add patties and cook 5 mins on each side, remove and set aside.recoat pan with cooking spray if needed. Add mushrooms and saute' over med high heat for 3 mins. Add stock and Worcestershire sauce, cook 10 mins. Return patties to skillet, Cover and reduce heat, simmer 15 mins. Remove patties from skillet to keep warm.Combine water and cornstarch, stir well. Stir cornstarch mixture into broth mixture in skillet, bring to a boil.....cook 1-2 minute.
