2 Garlic Cloves
1/2 Cup Onions, diced
1 Egg large
1/4 Cup Bread crumbs
1 Cup Beef broth
Dash Salt
Dash Pepper
1/2 Cup Mushrooms Sliced
1 TBSP Flour
1 TBSP Tomato Paste
1/2 TSP Red Wine Vinegar
1 TSP Worchestershire Sauce
1/4 TSP Dry Mustard Powder
1/4 Cup Water


How Do I Make Salisbury Steak?

Here is how you make Salisbury Steak:

Saute onions with a little cooking spray until golden brown. In a large bowl mix together, half of onions, ground beef, one garlic clove (crushed or grated) egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Make into 5 patties.Over medium high heat brown patties on either side and then set them aside. Add mushrooms to the frying pan season with salt and pepper. Saute 2-3 minutes, add the patties back to the frying pan.In a small bowl mix flour and broth until smooth. Mix in remaining onions, tomato paste, vinegar, water, worcestershire sauce and mustard powder. Pour over meat and mushrooms.Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
