1 c white flour
salt and pepper to taste (or whatever seasonings you like)
3 T canola oil
1 c chopped onions
1 c chopped celery
1 c chopped carrots
1 - 14 oz can of tomatoes (diced)
1 c red wine
1 - 14 oz can beef broth
3 c long grain white rice (or brown)

Here is how you make Jenny's swiss steak:

Mix flour and seasonings in large storage bag. Cut steak into 6 pieces.Put steak into bag with flour and seasonings, shake to coat.Heat oil in large skillet.Add steak and fry until browned.Add carrots, celery, onions and saute until done.Add wine - cook until alcohol evaporates.Add canned tomatoes and beef broth.Simmer until meat is tender - about 30-40 minutes. Add some flour mixed with water if you want it thicker.Meanwhile cook rice according to directions - enough to make 6 cups.
