1 Lg. Spanish Onion sliced into strips
2 Cubanelle Peppers sliced into strips
3 Tomatoes (Sliced)
4 Cloves of garlic (chopped)
1 small Ginger (grated)
3 Whole Bay Leaves
2 Sprigs of Thyme
4 tsp Achiote Oil
Dash of allspice
Salt & Pepper to taste


How Do I Make Steamed Whiting?

Here is how you make Steamed Whiting:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper. Oil baking dish with achiote oil. Arrange fillets in baking dish. Spread onions, peppers, tomatoes, garlic and ginger across the fish. Add thyme and 3 bay leaves on top of fish and veggies. Sprinkle a dash of allspice across veggies and fish. Cover and seal the dish with foil tightly. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until fish is thoroughly cooked.
