I large can Del Monte Cut Green Beans
2 small cans Great Value Whole New Potatoes
4 Tbsp Country Crock Original Spread
Dash of Garlic Powder
Dash of Italian Seasoning


How Do I Make Depression Stew?

Here is how you make Depression Stew:

In a large Dutch Oven add the 4Tbsp of butter and allow to melt. Add the dashes of Garlic Powder and Italian seasoning to the melted butter. Cut the potatoes in the can in half and add to the butter. Cook the potatoes in the butter until most of the butter is off of the bottom of the pan and the potatoes are well coated. Add in the can of Green Beans and stir well. Slice the links of Smoked Sausage into small chunks about 1/4 to 1/2 inches in width. Add the sausage to the potatoes and green beans. Allow to heat through.
