The ingredients for Sweet Pepper Stir Fry are:

1/4 green pepper, cut into strips
1/4 red pepper, cut into strips
1/4 yellow pepper, cut into strips
1/4 orange pepper, cut into strips
1 cup mushroom slices
2 celery stalks, sliced
1/2 c bean sprouts
8 ounces chicken breast
1/4 C Royal basmati rice.
optional hot sauce & soy sauce


How Do I Make Sweet Pepper Stir Fry?

Here is how you make Sweet Pepper Stir Fry:

Cook the rice before hand and set it aside. Start out in a pan, season and sauteing the chicken (in water, not butter or oil. Keep your water handy to add dashes here and there to keep you food from sticking or burning). When the chicken is done chop it into bite sized pieces (I used my spatula). Add the mushrooms, cook til browned (never salt mushrooms before or during cooking, they wont brown). Add in celery and peppers (optional hot sauce added here) and lastly right before serving stir in your bean sprouts and pre-cooked rice (optional soy sauce added here).Number of Servings: 1Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ALMOSTPERFECT.
