1 Pkg Turkey - Ground Extra Lean - Kirkland (Approx. 19.3 oz)
1/2 cup Egg Whites
9 Snackbread - Ryvita - Wholegrain or Melba Toast Rectangles Ground Up
2 Medium Whole Peeled & Cored & chopped finely

1 Tsp Ground Pepper
1 Tsp salt
1 Tbsp Ground Sage (optional)

How Do I Make Apple Turkey Loaf?

Here is how you make Apple Turkey Loaf:

Heat oven to 400C Loaf Pan TIP - I use a ceramic non-stick loaf pan because it contains NO PTFE and PFOA chemical properties. Where Teflon non-stick pans DO. So if using a Teflon loaf pan you will need to oil the pan, even if it is non-stick. In a "glass" mixing bowl place your raw ground turkey meat. Do not use plastic due to using raw meat. You can either use a baggy, small food processor or blender to grind up the snack bread or melba toast. I use a small food processor. You can either shred with a grater or chop the apples up in a small food processor. Then add all the ingredients to the bowl. The recipe initially had just salt and pepper to taste, but I like the thanksgiving taste of turkey so I added the ground sage, and thyme. On occasion, I have also added some paprika, cumin to the mix. Go crazy and come with your own!Mix well and place in your loaf pan and firmly pat down the mixture, so it doesn't fall apart when you remove it from the pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. The top will be a light brown. Slice up 5 pieces with a butter knife, let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
