These are such delicious turkey burgers. Good thing they are so healthy, because you will want to eat more. Very healthy with whole grain fresh bread crumbs, Shredded zucchini, chopped onion, salt and pepper, chicken stock cube. This is my family favorite! On the BBQ they are delicious!

The ingredients for Kasey's Extra Lean Turkey Burgers are:

3 and 1/4 Cups of Lean Ground Turkey
1 Large Egg
salt and pepper to your liking
1T of Olive Oil
1 Chicken Stock Cube (I use Maggi)
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1 and 1/3 Cup of SHREDDED/GRATED Zucchini
1 Clove garlic minced
4 slices of BodyWise Whole Grain Bread (I grate/shred it)
(These bread slices are THIN...so if you are using regular wholegrain bread then use 2 slices to start and then go by eye if you need more)

Whole Grain buns are delicious
Great with Guacamole on the bun :)
Or any other toppings you love.


How Do I Make Kasey's Extra Lean Turkey Burgers?

Here is how you make Kasey's Extra Lean Turkey Burgers:

FIRST: In a skillet, heat the olive oil and add the chicken stock cube, the shredded/grated zucchini, the chopped onion, garlic, and salt and pepper to your liking. Sautee for a few minutes until onions are tranlucent and the zucchini soft. Mixing often as not to burn.IN A LARGE BOWL:Place all the other ingredients (except bread). When the zucchini/onion mixture is ready add to the meat mixture. Then grate/shred your bread slices and keep stirring until you reach enough to make patties. MEASURE out 1/3 Cups and make flat patties. BBQ on the grill for about 15 mins. until complete. SERVE on Whole grain buns. (I take one half of the bun and slice it in half to make two thin bun slices) I love Dempster's. ADD your preferred toppings. One of my favorites is guacamole!ENJOY!!
