2lbs ground turkey, browned
1 small onion, chopped and cooked w/meat
4tbsp chili powder
1tsp ground cumin
1tsp paprika
1tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
2 cloves garlic, chopped (*see note)
1/2 c beef stock
3-1lb cans kidney beans, 2 drained
1-28oz can diced tomatoes



How Do I Make Lisa's Turkey Chili?

Here is how you make Lisa's Turkey Chili:

Brown the meat in a skillet with the onion. Mix the spices together in a bowl and pour over the meat and stir it in really good, let it cook for a min or two. If making in the crockpot, drain 2 of the cans of kidney beans before putting them into the crockpot, add tomatoes and beef stock, add meat last. Cook on high 4-6hrs or low 6-8hrs.If making this on the stove, drain the liquid from 1can of kidney beans, put into large pot, add tomatoes, beef stock and meat mixture.
