What Are The Ingredients For My turkey chili Recipe?

The ingredients for My turkey chili are:

Half pound of turkey

Black beans (You can adjust these depending on your personal tastes I usually use a cup or two)

One can of Rotel. The type can vary, sometimes we use the habenaro blend when we're in the mood for something spicier.

One cup of onions and bell peppers. We use the frozen Kroger blend because it's colorful and cost effective.

Water. It's variable depending on how thick or thin you like your chili.

Garlic to your taste (It's good for you :)

Chili powder to taste.

How Do I Make My turkey chili?

Here is how you make My turkey chili:

Place your turkey onion, pepper and garlic into a skillet. If you need you can spray the skillet with nonstick cooking spray to make this part easier. Cook on medium to high heat until the onions are semi-transparent and the turkey is cooked through. Add your Rotel and black beans. Continue to cook over medium to high heat until the rotel and beans are heated through. (Or for about 5-10 minutes. I like to cook mine just a bit longer so the rotel's flavor has a chance to mingle with the turkey and pepper).Slowly add 2-3 cups of water depending on your personal preference and your chili powder. Let this simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. This dish is wonderful served over rice or served with a serving of corn chips. It can be topped with a sprinkle of shredded cheese for garnish.
