One fresh sweet onion ? Two Hatch green chiles ? One tbsp chile powder ? Five cloves fresh garlic ? Two tsp ancho chili powder ? Two arbol chiles ? Two chipotle chiles ? One tsp dried oregano ? One habanero chile fresh ? Two tsp ground cayenne pepper ? 1.5 tsp Kosher salt How Do I Make SGS Turkey Chili?Here is how you make SGS Turkey Chili: Chop the tomatoes and place aside, then finely dice the onion, chiles and the garlic. Place a large stockpot over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once the olive oil has warmed for a few moments, add the diced onions, chiles and garlic. Sautee over medium heat for three to five minutes. Once the onions have started to become partially translucent, add the beer, tomatoes, chile powders, ground cayenne and salt. Cover the pot and simmer over medium low heat for thirty to forty five minutes. Taste for seasoning and adjust according to your liking. After simmering, use an immersion blender to blend ingredients to a mostly liquid consistency. Add the turkey and stir to break up any chunks. Return to medium low heat and cook for another twenty minutes.Make one last check of seasoning and check the thickness.
