15 oz can of tomato sauce
15 oz can of pinto beans
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 large cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup yellow,green or red pepper -chopped
2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
2 TBSP chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp black pepper
2 dashes of cayenne pepper

Here is how you make Skymother's turkey chili:

Over medium heat, saute chopped garlic,onion and yellow pepper in the olive oil until onions are translucent. add oregano, cumin and black pepper. add turkey and remaining spices. break turkey up into crumbles as it browns. When turkey is no longer pink add tomato sauce. When tomato sauce begins to bubble, lower flame to simmer and let cook for approx 20 minutes. Add beans and continue to simmer for approx 20 minutes. Check for salt, add more if desired.
