While the liquid is heating, in a large frying pan, saut? onions and half of the garlic until softening and fragrant, then add turkey, breaking up as it browns. 2) When broth comes to a boil, transfer it to the slow cooker. Add beans, carrots, celery, red pepper, 2 cloves of garlic, thyme, 2 whole bay leaves, turkey bacon and turkey mixture.3) Cook on low for 8 or more hours, or high for 4-6 hours would probably be sufficient as well.
