You can cook this on the stove, but I like to put it in a crock pot and simmer all day.In a nonstick pan, 1 quart if using crock pot or 3 quart if doing stovetop methond, cook onion and garlic until tender, add turkey and cook until done. Stir in paprika and cumin until well coated.Now is when I put mine in the crock pot or you can combine in your regular pot. Add beans, barley and boullion water, add more water as needed to cover.
