* 1 cup finely chopped onions, raw
* 4 cloves garlic
* .5 cup Quaker Oats - Quick 1 Minute - Dry, chopped
* .5 cup finely chopped Mushrooms
* 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
* Egg, fresh, 1 large
* .5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
* Salt, Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes, Chopped Parsley


How Do I Make Portabella and Turkey Meatballs?

Here is how you make Portabella and Turkey Meatballs:

Using a chopper, chop oats until they are fine and resemble breadcrumbs. (if they aren't dry enough you might have to toast them for a few minutes) Add pinch of sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper to taste. Beat 1 egg and add to mixture. Saute half the onions, mushrooms, and garlic together for just a few minutes until they begin to brown. Remove and add to raw turkey meat. Add chopped parsley and Worcestershire sauce and to meat. Fold in eggs/oats/spice mixture. Roll into golf ball size meatballs. Gravy: Sautee other half of the onions, mushrooms, and garlic together with green peppers. Add portabella mushroom soup and a little water for desired consistency. Put meatballs in skillet and brown on all sides (about 5 minutes). Pour gravy on top and simmer for approx 15 minutes.
