1/4 c quinoa
1/2 c water
1 large yellow onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 large eggs
3 tsp salt
2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 Tbsp grapeseed oil (or cooking oil of your preference)
8 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4 Tbsp Tapatio hot sauce
4 Tbsp tomato paste
2 Tbsp Siracha chili garlic sauce


How Do I Make Spicy Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf?

Here is how you make Spicy Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf:

1. Cook the quinoa. Combine quinoa with water and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and cook until water is absorbed (~12 minutes).2. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Cook onion until softened and translucent (~5 minutes). Add garlic and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat.3. In a large bowl combine; turkey, eggs, cooked quinoa, cooked onions and garlic, Tapatio hot sauce, 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 Tbsp tomato paste, salt and pepper. Mix well.4. Press meat mixture into a loaf shape in a well-oiled glass baking dish. Cook for ~90 min at 375F. 5. In a small bowl, combine Siracha chili garlic sauce, remaining tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Use this sauce to baste the loaf every 30 min (starting 30 min into cook time).
