1 tsp Oregano, ground

How Do I Make Pesto Turkey Pasta?

Here is how you make Pesto Turkey Pasta:

Break dry spaghetti into 4ths. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Rinse with cold water until cool to the touch. Drain thoroughly. Place in a very large mixing bowl. Sautee onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are semi-soft and translucent. Add ground turkey. Add oregano, basil, pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook and crumble until done. Transfer turkey to bowl with pasta. Wilt spinach in the pan. Add spinach to the bowl. Cut tomatoes into halves. Add tomatoes and peas to the bowl. Add mozzarella cheese to the bowl. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.Add a bit of water (1 tbsp - 1/4 cup) to pesto in a small bowl and mix until slightly thinned. Stir pesto into the spaghetti mixture until thoroughly coated.Transfer mixture to a 9x13 baking dish. Melt butter in the pan you cooked the turkey and spinach in. Remove from heat. Add breadcrumbs to butter and toss to coat. Add parmesan and mix thoroughly. Top pasta with breadcrumb mixture.Cover dish with greased aluminum foil.
