I use my crockpot for this sauce. I always freeze leftover turkey and when I use it, just toss it in frozen. Add all other ingredients and simmer for minimum 4 hours, but 6 or 8 is better. Just add 1 tablespoon of flour to 1/2 cup of cold water and stir till all the lumps are out, then slowly pour into the sauce...will thicken as it cooks.
