1 lb of Extra Lean Ground Turkey

1/2 C egg beaters

1/2 C italian style bread crumbs

1T italian seasoning

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 garlic clove, grated or finely minced

1 C of Hunts No Sugar Added Italian Tomato Sauce

1 oz. fat free cream cheese

5 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped

4 slices of Lite Texas Toast Garlic Bread (prepared according to pkg directions) and cut in half

2 slices of Sargento Reduced Fat Provalone Cheese, cut in half


How Do I Make Tomato and Basil Cream Sauce Turkey Burger?

Here is how you make Tomato and Basil Cream Sauce Turkey Burger:

Preheat oven to 365 degrees and layer a shallow baking dish with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray.In a seperate bowl combine ground turkey, egg beaters, bread crumbs, italian seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix thoroghly, but be sure not to overmix or it can become tough when cooked.Form into 4- 4oz square patties and place in the prepared baking dish. Bake for approx. 15 minutes on one side then flip and bake for another 10 OR until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reads 165 degrees. While the turkey patties are cooking - heat tomato sauce, fresh basil and cream cheese. Heat until cheese is melted and sauce is warmed through.When patties are cooked through dip each patty in the sauce coating well and then top with half slice of provolone cheese and then place between two halfs of the garlic bread.
