How Do I Make Stuffed mushrooms with turkey sausage and broccolli?

Here is how you make Stuffed mushrooms with turkey sausage and broccolli:

Preheat oven to 400. In a bowl, mix together minced tomatoes, minced sausage, minced broccolli ( please be sure you have steamed the broccolli and minced it). In another bowl take tomato sauce and season it. Some options are to use Italian seasoning mix, taco seasoning, or perhaps just some chopped garlic. I like to use preseasoned spaghetti sauce for easier prep. Add sauce to other ingredients in bowl. After cleaning mushroom and removing the stems, spoon mixture into the cavities of the mushrooms. Place on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle lowfat shredded cheese of your choice over the tops of the mushrooms. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Check often as the size of mushrooms vary greatly so cooking time may need to be adjusted. After cheese has melted and started to brown, remove from oven. Makes 4 servings of 8 mushrooms. To make even healthier, try this recipe with cooked diced chicken breast instead of the sausage, and grated parmesan instead of shredded cheese.Number of Servings: 4Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user DARIANMYLOVE.
