1 - 28oz. can Tomato Puree
1 c. Chopped Onion
3/4 c. Chopped Green Pepper
1 c. Roughly Chopped Fresh Mushrooms
2 T. Chef Meg's Italian Herb Seasoning
4 Cloves Finely Chopped Garlic
3 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sea Salt and Pepper to taste

Here is how you make Turkey Spagetti Ragu (Low Sodium):

Heat olive oil in a skillet add the onion and green peppers to soften on medium high heat. Then add the garlic followed by the Ground Turkey to brown. In a saucepan combine the tomato puree and diced tomatoes with the Italian seasonings on medium high heat. After ground turkey is brown add to saucepan along with the mushrooms and Sea Salt and Pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to slight boil and reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, with top on, stirring occasionally.This recipe in the thick form produces 9 cups of ragu.
