What Are The Ingredients For T*Funk's Turkey Tacos Recipe? The ingredients for T*Funk's Turkey Tacos are: 1 - 2 lbs extra lean ground turkey meat1 red bell pepper (or you could do any color you prefer...we like the red ones for color) 1 large onion 1 roma tomato 1 jalapeƱo pepper (or two serrano peppers, if you'd prefer) 2 cloves garlic 1 tbsp ground ginger 1 - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil salt and pepper to taste (of course, you can add other spices if you'd like) How Do I Make T*Funk's Turkey Tacos? Here is how you make T*Funk's Turkey Tacos: Makes approx. five 4 oz servings.Stage One! Go!1. Chop the onions, tomato, and bell pepper and set aside in a medium bowl.2. Dice the pepper(s) and set aside in a small bowl.3. Mince the garlic and set aside in a small bowl.4. If you have pre-ground ginger, measure out a tbsp and set it aside in a small bowl. If you prefer to use fresh ginger, grate enough to make around a tbsp worth (it's handy to squeeze out the excess moisture when you use this method).5. Put the ground turkey in a medium bowl and add salt, pepper, and whatever other spices you enjoy. Blend the meat just enough to get the spices worked in; be careful not the overwork the turkey!!!Stage Two! Go!1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot enough (You can test it by dropping a teeny tiny drop of water into the pan. If it sizzles and pops, the pan is hot enough. If not, wait just a little bit longer), add the ground turkey.2. Cook the turkey for a little while, breaking it up in the pan as you go along. Add the ginger as you do this. Once the turkey is mostly cooked, go ahead and add your veggies!3. Continue to cook everything in the pan until the turkey is cooked thoroughly and and veggies are nicely sauteed.Once every thing's cooked up, you can warm up some flour or corn tortillas and use it to fill them...or, you can do what I do and make tasty lettuce wraps.
