Here is how you make Ham and Vegetable Strata:

Grease 2 9x13" pans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Saute vegetables together until onions start to sweat. Add wine, and let cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat to cool. Beat eggs, milk, and half & half together. Add pepper to taste. Add the bread, stir, and let soak for at least 20 minutes.Put half of the bread mixture into each pan. Add ham to each pan.
