Here is how you make Crab Newburg:

Melt butter in skillet; blend in flour. Add milk/cream all at once. Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens and bubbles. Stir small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks; then add yolk mixture back to hot mixture; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add crab; heat through. Add water, lemon juice and salt. Serve over toast and sprinkle with paprika.
