2.5 T smart balance light
1.5 T all purpose flour
1.5 cups 2% milk
0.5 cup half and half
1.5 T pesto
6 cloves minced garlic; divided
2 T grated parmesan cheese
2 tsp salt; divided
1 tsp white pepper
1 dash worcestershire sauce
1 dash franks hot sauce
8 oz frozen broccoli florets, thawed
1 LB jumbo shrimp, deviened and peeled

Here is how you make Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli Pasta:

Makes 6 portions1. Bring a large pot of lighlty salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain. 2. Melt 1.5 Tmargarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly stir in milk and cream; simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in pesto, half of the garlic, parmesan cheese, 1 tsp salt, pepper, worcestershire sacue and hot sauce. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer. 3. Meanwhile, place broccoli in a steamer over 1 inch of boiling water, and cover. Cook until tender but firm, about 2-6 minutes. Drain4. Melt 1 T margarine in a large skillet. Saute shrimp, garlic, and remaining salt for 5 minutes or until shrimp is no longer pink. 5. In a large bowl, toss pasta, shrimp, and broccoli; pour sauce over and serve.
