2 cup angel hair pasta - barilla
1 tbsp Butter, salted
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
.125 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
1 tbsp Fruit - Lemon Rind, Grated - 1 tbsp. = 6g = 1 serving (by MIKNMEG)
1 serving Lemon, fresh squeezed, juice of one whole lemon
8 oz Fresh Water Shrimp (by THEONE33)


How Do I Make Shrimp and Lemon Pasta?

Here is how you make Shrimp and Lemon Pasta:

Cook the angel hair pasta and set aside. you may want to reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water. Heat the flour, butter and olive oil in a skillet. Whisk to remove all lumps and cook flour thoroughly, about 3-5 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook until they begin to turn pink. Add grated lemon rind and lemon juice. Whisk to keep the sauce smooth. (There is not a lot of sauce!) If you desire more sauce add the pasta water by the tablespoon. Dump the cooked and drained pasta into the skillet. I serve from the skillet. Divide equally, two generous servings.I served with a small salad, or tomato and cucumber salad. Serving Size: About 1 1/2 cups, and amn equal # of shrimp for each plate.
