In a large skillet, saute the garlic in the olive for a couple of minutes, until softened. Dump in the tomatoes, juice and all, and mash them with a fork or a potato masher. Add the salmon, seasonings, and capers, and stir. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.While the sauce simmers, cook the pasta.
