6 sliced bacon, cooked & crumbled

1/2 c balsamic vinegar
1/2 c fresh basil, chopped
1 T brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 shallots, minced
1 t pepper
1/2 t salt

Make dressing first by mixing first 7 ingredients well, then slowly adding EVOO.Put raw shrimp in lg ziploc bag with 1/2 of balsamic vinaigrette and let marinate for 15 minutes. (This is a good time to steam green beans and cook bacon.) Then cook shrimp on grill or in frying pan til pink.Combine shrimp, green beans, bacon, almonds, and parmesan in large bowl and toss with dressing.
